Nice Week For Ducks

Hi everyone,

Despite the rain the 'A' team are in high spirits. At the end of last week they finished a gorgeous lined and insulated cabin. Unfortunately, John, our in house photographer, wasn't able to get pictures of the end result. This was due to the tight space the building was positioned in. However I do have the original AutoCad drawings, which the building was made from.

Construction

5.35m x 4.25m Cabin constructed in 19mm thick tongue and groove Redwood weatherboard, breather membrane, 95mm x 45mm timber frame, 19mm thick tongue and groove Redwood flooring, 15mm tongue and groove sarking and Icopal Bitumen shingles with underlay.

There were 5 fixed double glazed panes, a set of morticed framed double doors and it was also lined with 14mm redwood weatherboard and insulated with 70mm Celotex throughout.

This week they have been busy with normal deliveries and are starting a lined and insulated Summerhouse on Friday, so I hope to get that one blogged up next week.

If you would like to know more about this build or any others, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Bye for now Sheddy's!
