Nice Week For Ducks
Hi everyone,
Despite the rain the 'A' team are in high spirits. At the end of last week they finished a gorgeous lined and insulated cabin. Unfortunately, John, our in house photographer, wasn't able to get pictures of the end result. This was due to the tight space the building was positioned in. However I do have the original AutoCad drawings, which the building was made from.

10m x 3m Shed Custom Design
Afternoon everyone,
Apologies for the late post, techincal difficulties shall we say!
Dom, John and Ali had a busy start to the week, last week. They were assembling a 10m x 3m Shed in Blairgowrie. The boys managed to complete their build in 1 and a half days. Very impressive!
The building was made to our usual Heavy Duty specification, 19mm thick tongue and groove redwood weatherboard, 70mm x 38mm pressure treated frame, 19mm tongue and groove flooring, 16mm sarking and green mineralised Polyflex roofing felt.
There is also a 3m veranda, canopy attached to the building. The 4m x 3m area has an insulated floor.
The customer decided to fit his own windows at a later date.
Below is a floor plan and 3 suspect pictures, John isn't the best photographer unfortunately.

All in all a great success. Please note the boys did tidy up before they left! If you would like to know anything else about this build, for example the costs involved, please do not hesitate to contact me.
We are at another big build this week, which is fully lined and insulated and double glazed so check up on Friday for my new post!

21 YEARS AND HERE WE ARE...
Hello Everyone,
Introductions first, Cara is my name and Gillies and Mackay Ltd is my uncle Grant and my father John's business. Grant and John began the quest for the perfect shed back in 1989. Grant was fresh from his travels and had many a story of log cabin building in Canada. John had a beautiful wife, four wonderful children and another on the way. Since then their team has grown and they now run a healthy group of thirteen.
I am starting this blog in a bid to crack the wonder that is internet advertising. Being a wee Scottish business plonked on the side of the river Tay, we don't get much passing trade unfortunately.
So, here goes!
We usually have at least one unusual building on the make and being delivered a week, so every Friday I will try to update you on what's new in the making and delivering. I won't bore you with ''what we have to offer'' (unless you ask of course!), more of a ''get to know us'' blog, for all you Sheddies out there!
Will see you on Friday!
